Standard Guide for Supply Chain Traceability, Authentication, Verification, Validation, and Oversight Using Emerging Technologies Including Blockchain
Importancia y uso:
4.1 This standard has been developed to aid readers to adopt methods of identification of products from raw materials through manufacturing to components or other goods that may be further assembled or processed into goods to be purchased by an end user who cares about the traceability and chain of custody from origin to consumption. This standard outlines the current paper processes that are traditionally deployed and considers emerging technology and methods to harmonize communication between parties involved in moving cargo as part of an overall goods movement process that brings goods to market. Using recognizable methods of producing product and shipment identifiers, the chain of custody and traceability can be achieved and validated.
