Standard Guide for Implementing High THC Cannabis Transportation Program in a Cannabis Operation

Importancia y uso:

4.1 Transportation security addresses a comprehensive range of security measures from shipping manifests to security escorts. Transportation security for any cannabis products and currency reduces the risk of diversion, loss, or theft during transport.

4.2 This guide covers the security and includes the required personnel security measures, physical security, security documents and records, and technical security applicable to the safety and security of people, product, currency, and property.

4.3 The transport of products should be conducted with meticulous security to prevent potential diversion and maintain the integrity of the products being delivered and any returns. Identify and implement strategies to mitigate risk, maximize employee and public safety, and ensure the safe transportation of all products and currency. This includes the delivery of product (defined as product in any of its forms) and currency.

4.4 Cannabis products come in many forms, and your risk assessment will initially help to identify potential security needs based on the product being shipped and its destination. However, it is important to note that the actual level of security measures required should be legally defined by authority having jurisdiction in each country, ensuring that all security protocols comply with local and international laws.

4.5 The recommended minimum specifications are Guides D8205 and D8218 (see Section 2).
